§ 24-12. Operating vessel near beach or commercial pier.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a vessel (as the term "vessel" is defined in G.S. 75A-2) inside the area 125 yards eastward of the mean high-water mark of the Atlantic Ocean within the town in a reckless or negligent manner so as to endanger the life, limb or property of any person.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a vessel (as the term "vessel" is defined in G.S. 75A-2) within 125 yards of any commercial fishing pier located within the town and extending eastward of the mean high-water mark of the Atlantic Ocean.
