§ 6-233. Penalties.

(a)

Each violation of this article subjects the owner or proprietor under section 1-6(b) and (f) to a civil charge in the amount set forth in table 1 in section 1-7.

(b)

A violation of the provisions of this article shall subject the offender to a civil penalty in the amount of $50.00 to be recovered by the town in a civil action in the nature of debt if the offender does not pay the penalty within 15 days after he has been cited for violation of the article.

(c)

Any violation of the provisions of this article may be enforced by an appropriate equitable remedy issuing from a court of competent jurisdiction.
