§ 28-2. Burning or burying garbage and refuse regulated.

It shall be unlawful to bury any garbage, refuse, solid waste or building material scraps of any kind on any public or private property. It shall be unlawful to burn or set fire to any garbage for the purpose of disposal. It shall be unlawful to burn or set fire to any building material scraps, refuse or tree trimmings for the purpose of disposal unless a permit therefor has been granted by the town manager or his designee.
