§ 26-31. Serve at pleasure of chief of police.

All members of the police auxiliary shall serve at the pleasure of the chief of police. All auxiliary members shall be appointed by the chief of police with prior approval of the town manager. Due to the voluntary nature of this unit, any auxiliary member may be required to leave the service of the town without prior notice and without need for explanation.
