§ 12-1. Fire limits.

Latest version.
  • The fire limits of the town are the corporate boundaries of the town. The fire limits do not restrict in any way the ability of the town to establish and respond to mutual aid agreements with other towns, areas, departments or similar entities for fire protection service. Nor do they prohibit the town from responding to and providing firefighting, emergency or public safety related assistance to other entities even if no mutual aid agreement exists. A response of this nature must be approved by the town manager, or in his absence, the fire chief.
