§ 10-19. Unreasonably loud noises prohibited.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to create or assist in creating, permit, continue or permit the continuance of any unreasonably loud, disturbing noise in the town. Noises of such character, intensity, and duration as to be detrimental to the life or health of any individual are prohibited.

    (b)   

       Scope. This article shall apply to all sound, vibration, and noise originating within the corporate limits of the town. Nothing in this article shall be construed to limit or prevent the town or any person from pursuing any other legal remedies for damages or the abatement of noises in the town.
